FALL 2017 NFL Youth Flag Football Registration

  • The League runs August 19th – October 15th 
  • Deadline to register is Wednesday, July 26th (but leagues may fill up before the deadline)
  • No Games Labor Day Weekend (September 2nd & 3rd)
  • $125 to Register (referee fees, jersey, flag set, and player card fee included)
  • Coaches can register their team for free!!
  • The season includes 8 games

Age Breakdown:

5-6 Age Group (If your child is 4,5,or, 6 before August 19th they qualify for this age group)

7-8 Age Group (If your child is 7 or 8 before August 19th they qualify for this age group)

9-10 Age Group (If your child is 9 or 10 before August 19th they qualify for this age group)

11-12 Age Group (If your child is 11 or 12 before August 19th they qualify for this age group)

13-14 Age Group (If your child is 13 or 14 before August 19th they qualify for this age group)

Games will be played on the following days:

5/6 years old (Saturday)

7/8 years old (Saturday/ Sunday)

9/10 years old (Saturday/Sunday)

11/12 years old (Saturday/ Sunday)

13/14 years old (Saturday/ Sunday)

For ages 5/6 practice will be held 1 hour prior to the game and games will consist of two halves of twenty minutes each with a two minute break between the two halves.

For ages 7 years and older, games consist of a 15 minute warm up and two halves of twenty minutes each with a two minute break between the two halves.

Team Registration

Coaches Signing Up a Team: Please select your teams proper age group (see age group matrix above), next select the option ‘I am Registering a new team’. Please fill out the adjoining information to complete registration for your team. Once complete, players can register here and add themselves to your roster.

Please read the following information below as it contains important information for the upcoming season.

  • Players must be registered by Wednesday, July 26th
  • Your team MUST turn in the following items:
    • 1) A team packet containing copies of all your player’s birth certificates and a signed youth waiver for each player. (Waivers can be found on the Youth Flag Football page on our website.)
    • 2) A headshot photo emailed to info@renodome.com for all players that have never been issued a RSD player card.
  • If you have players who played in either our 2017 Youth Soccer Leagues or Spring Youth Flag Football, they DO NOT need to turn in a photo or waiver.
  • Team packets must be turned in to the Reno Sportsdome by Wednesday, July 26th
  • RSD Staff will not be registering players on the first day of games!

Submitting a photo for a player card:

  • Players who have never been issued a player card must submit a current head shot to info@renodome.com with the players first/last name and date of birth.
  • Photos must be current, and may not include hats, sunglasses, or any other objects within the picture.
  • Photos must be submitted to Reno Sportsdome by Wednesday, July 26th
  • If you have previously been issued a player card at any point that either expired in October of 2016 or expires in October 2017 you DO NOT need to re-submit a photo. RSD Staff will be printing new player cards for all players with expiring player cards.

Every player MUST have a player card to play. No exceptions! 

Players with a team (your coach has already created a team): To register please select your proper age group (see age group matrix above) click the option ‘I am Registering for a Team’. A drop down menu will populate where you can select the team you play for. Please complete all the information and pay to complete your registration.

Individual Registration

Individual Players: To register, please click the option “I am an individual registering”

Please read the following information below as it contains important information for the upcoming season.

Any teams that the Reno Sportsdome forms are coached by parent volunteers from the team their child is on. As a parent you may be asked to volunteer to coach. If you are interested in coaching please email us at info@renodome.com as soon as possible.

Player Card Photos:
As a reminder all players must have a player card in order to play. If you have not emailed in a photo, please email one to info@renodome.com by Wednesday, July 26th. Emails must contain the players first/last name and date of birth. Photos may not include hats, sunglasses, or any other objects within the picture.

If you have already been issued a player card from a previous season, you do not need to submit a photo. RSD Staff will use the photo we have on file.

Player Card Documents Needed: Please read these instructions carefully.
If you have NEVER been issued an RSD player card or this is your first time playing here, you will need to submit the following two forms to receive a player card. Documents must be submitted by Wednesday, July 26th.

1) Copy of birth certificate
2) Signed Youth Waiver

– Go to www.renosportsdome.com
– Hold your cursor over “leagues”, “youth leagues”, and the CLICK “Youth Flag Football”.
– Click the blue button labeled “Youth Waiver”

Documents can be submitted

1) Sent via email to info@renodome.com

2) Dropped off in person at the Reno Sportsdome, Mon-Fri 4pm-8pm

3) Faxed to the Reno Sportsdome at 775-328-1302

If you HAVE BEEN issued an RSD player card that has expired, you will need to submit the following two forms to receive a NEW player card. Documents must be submitted ASAP.

1) Signed Youth Waiver (Printed out)

– Click the blue button labeled “Youth Waiver”

2) Copy of birth certificate
